Job Description

The Juvenile Justice SW Level III position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

weekend and holiday shift coverageweekend and holiday shift coverage
assist/consult in planning for the appropriate after-care and concrete services once discharged from the JJ system,
provide on-site administrative and clinical oversite and to supervise social work staff
provide guidance and expertise in psychosocial assessments, family and group therapy and disposition planning
have extensive knowledge of the social service system, including JJ, ACS, DOE, OPWDD and OMH
supervision and evaluation of SW staff
Position is off-site.

Minimum Qualifications

For Assignment to Level III

Valid license as an LCSW issued by the NYSED.
