Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are currently recruiting Home Care Support Workers for Eastern Sydney - Eastlakes, Rosebery, Eastgardens, South Coogee Botany, Mascot, Kingsford, Kensington, Randwick, Chifley, Daceyville, Little Bay, Pagewood, Matraville, Hillsdale, La Perouse, Port Botany, Philip Bay and surrounding areas.

Permanent Part time contracts available depending on your location and availability to work
Earn hourly rate of $29 to $33 per hour based on your experience plus 11.5% super
Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time

Your New Role:

Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing
Transport: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
Personal Care: experienced staff assist customers with Personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime & medication prompting
Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements:

Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
Willing to travel across all suburbs that the branch services
All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 with a minimum of 2 doses
Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory
