The Work You'll Do

We're expanding our technical writing team and are looking for a writer who can be deeply technical while putting themselves into the mind of the customer. As a technical writer, you’ll help to build exceptional software experiences through user-centered content creation.

The ideal candidate will bring passion, creativity, and drive to a thriving content development team that values teamwork, collaboration, technical prowess, and attention to detail.

More Specifically, You Will

  • Primarily updates existing documentation, including release notes, installation guides, administration guides, developer guides, and use cases
  • May create new content for projects, as needed
  • Works closely with an editor or manager on all content
  • Takes initiative to learn application subject matter
  • Recognizes how to find information about a specific product
  • Adheres to documentation plans and schedules
  • Maintains consistency in tone and style
  • Resolves reported documentation issues

What We Ask From You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field, OR equivalent experience working in a technical writing position
  • 1-4 years' experience working as a technical writer
  • Experience updating training guides or help documentation for software users
  • Experience editing content to make it more accessible and easier to understand
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to produce quality content within a tight deadline
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize deliverables for multiple stakeholders
  • Ability and initiative to learn new tools and technologies as required, including effective troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English-language communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with an eye for improving existing work

Would Be Nice If You Have Experience With

  • Regulatory or compliance software
  • Structured authoring, DITA, or minimalist writing
  • Enterprise and/or SaaS documentation projects and audiences
  • Tools such as Jira, Figma, Zendesk, or Sendgrid
