For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Accountant in Ghent.

As a Senior Accountant, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • You are responsible for customer and supplier accounting.
  • You oversee general accounting.
  • You process bank transactions and payroll documents.
  • You handle the preparation of periodic VAT returns and listings.
  • You manage assets and depreciations.
  • You manage the preparation of the annual accounts and tax returns.
  • You ensure the standardization of accounting transactions.
  • Supervise a junior accountant.

Who are you?

  • You are still willing to grow and develop your skills;
  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economic or accounting field;
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Work accurately, discreetly, and with attention to detail.
  • You have no 9 to 5 mentality and good communication skills.
  • Enjoy taking responsibility.
  • Strong Excel knowledge;
  • Strong communication skills in English; (Dutch, French or Spanish is a plus)
  • Experience with Isabel is a plus.
