Your Role

As Mechanical Designer, you will:

Demonstrate knowledge of Building Code, Mechanical Codes, ASHRAE Standards, and NFPA Standards.
Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit for effective project design and implementation.
Produce comprehensive zone maps and precise equipment and duct layouts.
Ability to size and route ductwork through ceiling cavities and structural models in Revit.
Ability to select and located diffusers in Revit.
Develop equipment and system specifications and schedules.
Collaborate and coordinate with internal consultants to create fully coordinated contract documents.
Utilize strong communication skills, translating technical information into clear and accessible formats for co-workers.
Review equipment and system submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), addressing queries promptly and accurately.
Demonstrate proficiency and hands on experience in the development of MEP engineering designs and consulting for HVAC systems.
Demonstrate strong teamwork mentality by providing assistance to your co-workers.
Complete MEP engineering projects with impeccable quality on schedule and on budget.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Ability to use AutoCAD MEP and Revit to produce design drawings.
Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the development of MEP engineering designs and consulting for HVAC systems.

Preferred Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the development of MEP engineering designs and consulting for HVAC systems.
Hands-on expertise in Mechanical equipment maintenance and installations while demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices.
