The
R CM T rainer develops and conducts training programs for employees within onshore and offshore operations. They develop competency and skill sets that enable individuals to perform their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Paid Time Off: Envision Healthcare offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.
Responsibilities
- Assists teammates with learning resources concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions.
- Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
- Confers with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
- Coordinates training schedules with the hiring manager and training demands of the department.
- Develops monitoring systems to gauge teammate performance of job responsibilities according to the training provided.
- Develops strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and facilitate feedback.
- Formulates lesson plans and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops.
- Gains knowledge of work situations requiring training to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies, including those for overseas vendors.
- Administers quizzes and exams to monitor the progress of trainees. Reports the results of these tests to the appropriate management personnel.
- Maintains the training program to keep it current with changes in departmental procedures, industry updates, and Envision’s policies and procedures.
- Makes suggestions for improving work procedures.
- Provides updates to overseas vendors on process changes and facilitates refresher courses as necessary based on error trending.
- Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources, or the Legal Department to do so
- Other duties as assigned
- Performs ongoing quality reviews during the first 90 days in the department and evaluates each trainee to measure the progress of the trainee as well as the effectiveness of the program.
- Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures, and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
- Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment, or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
- Reports progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
- Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
- Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Healthcare revenue cycle management experience required, with a preferred focus on large multi-state integrated healthcare settings.
- Three years of formal training experience within a healthcare setting.
- Experience with Athena IDX preferred.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
- Proficiency in remote worker communication tools (i.e. Zoom, Teams)
