What We Are Looking For
IntelePeer, a leading provider of AI-powered Communication Automation solutions, is seeking an experienced Vice President of Strategic Alliances to lead our strategic initiatives with a focus on Microsoft plus forming other key alliances. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving our growth within Microsoft's ecosystem across our entire sales organization. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and expanding our presence in the Microsoft sales organization as well as forming new alliances to drive bookings growth.
Position Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Strategic Partner Sales Plans: Create and implement strategic sales plans to assist IntelePeer’s GTM teams to acquire new clients & grow installed base customers in alignment with Microsoft GTM teams, with a focus on Customer Interactions automation using AI for B2C, large Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.
Build and Nurture Executive-Level (C, VP & GM) Relationships: Establish and foster strong relationships with executives within Microsoft to solidify and deepen our partnership and form executive relationships at new alliances.
Map out and execute on an alignment strategy between Microsoft’s account teams, vertical go to market teams and Microsoft partners with IntelePeer’s account teams and sales partners. Success will be measured based on bookings generated from aligned accounts and the formation and bookings generation of new alliances.
Position IntelePeer as a Leader Within Microsoft and Any Newly Formed Alliances: Using our in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure Open AI to position IntelePeer as a leader in Communications Automation Platform (CAP) for Customer Interactions automation within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Look for and deliver on co-marketing opportunities for IntelePeer and key alliances through the press, exhibits and conferences.
Innovative Sales Strategies: Identify and implement innovative sales strategies and tools to drive bookings growth within the Microsoft ecosystem and also from new alliance relationships.
Scalable Methodologies: Create scalable and repeatable methodologies through proven best practices to ensure consistent sales performance.
Sales Team Development: Develop and train the sales team to maximize performance using your expertise not only in Microsoft and their ecosystem but also with any newly formed alliances going forward.
Collaborative Partner Go-To-Market: Implement methodologies to facilitate a collaborative go-to-market approach with Microsoft and other new alliances.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Establish relationships with leadership across various departments to ensure cross-functional alignment, including sales, customer success, support, product, and marketing.
Key Business Metrics: Manage and achieve key business metrics including bookings, revenue, and overall partner health within all alliance relationships going forward.
Inspirational Leadership: Be an inspirational leader and create a vibrant, inclusive culture that inspires people to do their best work.
Operational Excellence: Operationalize key programs to ensure the team can scale to meet the needs of our partner ecosystem.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive collaboration with product development teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and product roadmap, incorporating customer and partner feedback and market insights.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution is required. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Expertise And Experience
Must have a prior experience with Microsoft’s go to market and deep Microsoft and other alliance relationships.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in enterprise sales leadership.
15+ years of experience in high-growth organizations delivering software-based business solutions to enterprises.
10+ years of work experience in a sales leadership position with a track record of growth.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Detailed understanding of best practices for Salesforce utilization as a CRM tool.
Experience in Contact Center and Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) is a plus.
Must be open to 50% travel.
