What will you do?

As an SDE-II (Backend), you will:

• Develop and scale core backend services and infrastructure to support high-traffic applications.
• Architect and enhance infrastructure for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
• Design and implement APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for real-time processing and analytics.
• Optimize database performance and ensure scalability of backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-scale features and improve system performance.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and cloud infrastructure management.
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of backend development experience in high-scale environments.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for web development and/or Python for RAG applications.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and OpenAI embeddings.
• Strong understanding of APIs and their best practices.
• Familiarity with Redis and caching strategies.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to articulate and reason through architectural decisions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to SQL and NoSQL databases.
  
  
  

Good to have:

• Experience with search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr, etc.).
• Background in job boards, programmatic search, or large-scale marketplaces.
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven applications and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
