Working As a Data Engineer, You Will

Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and other Azure Data Services
Manage and integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and consistency
Leverage Azure tools such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks to support data transformation and analysis
Ensure data security and compliance with regulations like GDPR through encryption, access control, and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data solutions that meet business needs
Create and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures using advanced SQL/T-SQL skills
Develop insightful data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Power BI to enable business decision-making
Analyze and interpret complex datasets, using statistical methods to derive actionable insights
(Optional) Build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning services

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in the Azure data ecosystem, including Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
Experience with data orchestration and workflow management using Azure Data Factory
Strong skills in SQL/T-SQL for designing and optimizing database queries and structures
Advanced proficiency in Power BI for visualization, data connectivity, and Power Query transformation
Knowledge of Azure security practices, including data encryption and access control
Solid foundation in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data solutions
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools is a plus
