The ideal Conveyancing Assistant will have 3-5 years of experience, expertise in PEXA, Smokeball, or Leap, and knowledge of property law in Victoria and South Australia. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process for residential and commercial property transactions.
Conduct title searches, review contracts, and prepare settlement-related documents.
Notify clients of lodgements and registrations, and liaise with brokers and referrers regarding finance updates.
Stay updated on relevant legislation and provide guidance to clients regarding rights, obligations, and risks.
Collaborate with your team to streamline workflows and maintain accurate records of transactions and correspondence.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conveyancing, with the ability to manage files from start to finish.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using conveyancing software such as PEXA, Smokeball, or Leap.
Knowledge of Australian Property Law: Prior experience in property law and conveyancing in Victoria and South Australia.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in file management, legal documentation, and settlements.
Client-Focused Approach: Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, real estate agents, solicitors, and referrers.
Team Player: Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and business objectives.
