Job description

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be an essential part of our corporate business support team. The HRC is responsible for supporting the Regional HRBP on all employee related matters, including but not limited to the following: benefits, pre hire compliance/onboarding, implementation and administration of the learning management system, unemployment and workers compensation claims processing, personnel file maintenance and auditing, scanning and filing, answering phones and responding to employees needs. The HRC must operate with a high degree of integrity, ethics, and maintain confidentiality at all times. The HRC will deliver exemplary employee services, act as a positive influence, and be a go-to resource for all staff. The HRC will play a key role in helping to contribute to the attainment of specific goals of the HR Department and help drive success towards achievement of the overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-hire onboarding and processing of all new employees.
  • Helping to build out and implement the Learning Management System across the agency.
  • Processing benefits enrollments for medical, dental, and other plans. Communicating enrollments and answering any questions regarding benefits.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment.
  • Ensuring HR compliance with licensing (pre-hire and pre-renewal), program letters, supervision agreements, I-9, criminal BGC/OIG, etc.
  • Completing employment verifications, employee letter requests, etc.
  • Assist with responding to unemployment claims and Paid FMLA requests in a timely fashion.
  • Work with RHRBP on offboarding of terminated employees - disabling access, notifications, and scheduling of exit interviews.
  • Assist with submitting any workers compensation claims to carrier.
  • Audit employment files and ensure all data is accurate and complete.
  • Scan and upload all outstanding items into personnel files to get current files completely off paper.
  • Process any necessary status changes, title changes, and compensation changes in ADP system timely.
  • Provide support to the RHRBP with documentation for investigations, employee relations matters, & employee counseling.
  • Support RHRBP with rolling out new programs, trainings, processes as needed – such as: employee recognition program, employee engagement surveys and focus groups, employee retention strategies, D&I Council, etc.
  • Will promote and support a diverse and inclusive work environment for all employees to succeed.
  • Other HR duties and projects as assigned by RHRBP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3+ years of HR administrative experience
  • ADP knowledge a plus
  • Mental health experience a plus
