Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service ( UCaaS ): we provide voice, data, and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish, and Benelux business markets.
Main purpose of role
The role is an externally focused business development role, where the primary objective is to lead in Gamma’s desire to grow its offering and capabilities within the MVNO market, ensuring that Gamma hits its revenue and margin ambitions within its 5-year plan.
This role is home based with London site visits when needed. A reasonable proximity to our london office would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities
The role will involve the following:
- Leading in the industrialisation of Gamma’s processes, propositions, and Go to Market Plan within the MVNO market.
- Lead strategic engagements within large direct brand MVNO bids and opportunities.
- Support new partner acquisition campaigns alongside the Head of New Business.
- Support in the drive and creation of new prospects.
- Baselining and redefining the commercial and sales pipeline to ensure it is optimised.
- Proactively work with the marketing team to execute ongoing sales and awareness campaigns.
- Represent Gamma at industry events and be a thought leader in this space.
- Support the scale-up of existing MVNOs.
- Grow the margin within that base in line with agreed targets.
- Identify and build new relationships with new customers.
- Build and develop C + MD level relationships.
- Orchestrate the various resources at your disposal to ensure that the accounts have the necessary specialist team engaged.
- Liaise internally with departments within Gamma to ensure that the service provided is of the highest standard.
- Create and deliver bespoke commercial propositions to win business.
- Maintain expected activity levels of 20 customer-facing meetings per month.
- Proactively manage and report progress of key sales opportunities through Gamma’s CRM system (Salesforce).
- Produce a monthly summary of key opportunities won, pending, and lost.
- Handle MVNO sales enquiries, including tenders and commercial support as well as complex rates and commercial negotiations on a global scale.
- Provide sales support for bids, proposals, and contract renewals for MVNO prospects.
- Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities in the MVNO market.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies for the MVNO market.
- Research and identify potential customers in the MVNO market.
