Job description

Title: IT Project Manager - Insurance/Claims
Location: Remote, must be US based, working on EST
Type: 6 Month Contract, potential to extend
Pay Range: $50-60/hr

Our Insurance client is seeking an IT Project Manager to assist with the outsourcing of their Claims processing. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting this transition, collaborating closely with company leadership and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager who can juggle multiple workstreams while ensuring seamless execution. Prior experience in the healthcare/insurance/claims sector will be highly desired along with projects with an EDI component.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide project coordination and administrative support for the IT department
Maintain and handle confidential data with professionalism and discretion
Organize internal and external meetings, manage calendars, and handle communications
Assist in the development of IT resources and support systems to enhance company operations
Execute additional tasks as needed to ensure project success

Skills Needed:

Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach to challenges
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
