3D Artist III

Meta is seeking a 3D Artist III to join their team. As a 3D Artist III, you will be part of the Animation team supporting innovative projects that push the boundaries of real-time character animation. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Remote - PST

Duration: 4-5 Months on Experis W2

Pay Range: $45-$48/hour

What's the Job?

• Create and push the craft of real-time and pre-rendered character animation.
• Develop emotion and expressivity through facial animations.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and Animation Leadership to create exceptional animations for VR/AR and 2D media.
• Work with Engineers and Tech Artists to enhance animation systems within technical constraints.
• Identify and propose improvements in production pipelines and methodologies.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in creating industry-leading key-frame animation for VFX, film, games, or real-time applications.
• Expertise in Maya.
• Experience working within a distributed/remote team environment.
• Proficiency in Motion Capture Animation and familiarity with Unity and Unreal Engine is a plus.
