Job Title: Content Marketing Specialist

Location: Colombia-Remote (Ability to work within specified time zones as needed)

Salary Range: $900-$1,500 USD

Work Schedule: Flexible based on company needs, typically Monday to Friday.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to develop and execute compelling content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. In this role, you will create high-quality content across multiple platforms, optimize content for SEO, and analyze performance metrics to refine marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, a strong writer, and a data-driven marketer who understands how to craft content that resonates with target audiences and supports business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling and high-quality content for blogs, newsletters, social media, and other marketing channels. This content should engage audiences, enhance brand awareness, and drive customer action while maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure strategic and timely content delivery. This includes planning posts around key business milestones, seasonal trends, and audience engagement patterns while maintaining flexibility for timely or reactive content.
  • Optimize all content for SEO by conducting keyword research, implementing on-page SEO strategies, and tracking performance metrics. The goal is to improve organic search visibility, increase website traffic, and ensure content is discoverable by the right audience.
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce visually engaging multimedia content. This includes social media graphics, infographics, videos, and other formats that enhance storytelling and keep audiences engaged across multiple platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using insights from website analytics, social media engagement, and audience feedback. Based on data, adjust strategies to improve reach, conversion rates, and overall content effectiveness.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging content formats to identify new opportunities for content creation. By keeping up with best practices and innovations, ensure the brand remains relevant, competitive, and engaging in a fast-moving digital landscape.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of published content.
  • Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and content management systems (WordPress, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content distribution strategies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze content performance and optimize strategies accordingly.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in video content creation/editing and/or podcasting.
  • Knowledge of paid media strategies and content amplification.
  • Understanding of UX writing and conversion copywriting.
  • Certifications in content marketing or inbound marketing.
