Marketing Executive – Jonas Event Technology UK

Jonas Event Technology (JET) is a leading provider of event registration services and events software, serving the trade exhibition, consumer, and conference markets. In this role, two-thirds of your time will be dedicated to marketing JET, while the remaining one-third will focus on Contronics, a provider of temperature monitoring systems. As the business grows, there may be opportunities to take on responsibilities across additional brands within the Vesta Software Group.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will play a key role in executing marketing activities to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This hands-on role requires a creative and proactive individual who can manage multiple marketing tasks across different channels while maintaining brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Email Marketing & Campaigns

  • Set up and launch targeted email marketing campaigns.

  • Track performance and optimise campaigns for engagement and conversions.

• Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Create compelling and engaging content for blogs, social media, website, brochures, sales decks, and awards submissions.

  • Write press releases for events, new products, newsletters, and customer case studies.

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and voice.

• Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute a social media content plan to grow and nurture followers.

  • Create engaging visuals and posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.

  • Monitor trends and engage with the events community to drive brand awareness.

• Graphic Design & Creative Support

  • Work with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to design marketing materials.

  • Collaborate with designers or independently create eye-catching visuals for campaigns.

• Event & PR Support

  • Assist in creating PR materials for industry events, product launches, and sponsorships.

  • Support the execution of trade show and exhibition marketing activities.

Helpful but Not Essential

• Knowledge of SEO best practices.

• Experience in managing paid ads (such as Google or LinkedIn ads).

• Previous experience in B2B or SAAS marketing.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a similar job position.

• Experience in setting up and launching email marketing campaigns.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Strong copywriting skills for multiple formats (blogs, social media, website, brochures, press releases, etc.).

• Ability to create and manage social media content, engaging with followers effectively.
