The Marketing Communications Intern is responsible for the obsoletion portion the MAPSS (Product Marketing, Advertising, Promotional, Scientific and Sales) process for review of global marketing communications content, and for maintaining standards consistent with regulatory and legal compliance. The Marketing Communications Intern will also help optimize our sales content management platform (Showpad) and gain digital marketing exposure through assisting with social media planning and execution, internal communications, PPC (pay per click), email and web.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage the obsolescence process of all MAPSS (Product Marketing, Advertising, and Promotional, Scientific and Sales) materials on a global basis
  • Optimize our Sales Content Management Platform by organizing product information and collateral. 
  • Assist with the planning and execution of social media marketing 
  • Assist with content creation by writing posts for the Mammotome intranet site.
  • Gain exposure to other digital outlets, including PPC (pay per click), email development, graphic design and website management 
     

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • An eye for fine details as attention to detail is critical.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Willingness to learn new programs and software  
  • Willingness to learn the complexities of working in a diagnostic industry where compliance to regulation is a must.
  • A collaborative spirit who works well with teams 
  • Positive attitude and ability to work cross-functionally to drive change, continuous improvement, and engagement throughout the organization.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and deadlines at once.
  • True love of continuous improvement, measuring results and problem solving. 
  • Team player who can work well across a global organization.

Required Education/Qualifications

  • Enrolled in undergraduate education, seniors/junior preferred 
  • Preferred majors: Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business 
  • Must be proficient in AP style.
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field required.

The hourly range for this role is $21.50-$24.50. This will be a part-time position. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
