The Pricing Policy and Governance Manager will play a critical role in defining and driving pricing governance and compliance across the organization. This position will design and implement frameworks, processes, and policies that ensure effective pricing strategy execution. The Pricing Policy and Governance Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, and Finance to support the establishment and implementation of standardized pricing governance and processes for both list price setting and discount management.

Key responsibilities
Pricing policy
Design, implement and enforce new pricing policies that set strategic guardrails to improve Agilent’s pricing discipline
Regularly assess and refine policies to adapt to changing market conditions and business objectives
Provide ongoing support to ensure understanding and adoption of pricing policies across all markets
Document and maintain the latest pricing policies at Agilent
Report the compliance of all implemented pricing policies
Pricing governance
Design and implement frameworks and processes for new product introductions and list price adjustments
Support the establishment of win room – continue to evaluate and evolve the governance model and process for deal / discount approval
Assess the need for establishing pricing counsel(s) at Agilent, and determine the optimal environment, audience, and engagement model for execution
Sales enablement
Support sales leadership to design and refine pricing-related metrics and incentives for Agilent commercial teams
Support materials and tool development for any regular or ad-hoc pricing training for the sales team
Pricing transformation
Support the phased global roll-out of the net price guidance methodology, including sales enablement, metrics tracking, incentives design, and tool rollout
Strategic pricing partner
Provide pricing insights to support strategic decision making for cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Management, and Finance
Support implementation and change management for any new pricing policies, processes, governance models, etc.
8+ years of experience; 3+ experience in policy development, governance, or related roles, ideally within pricing, sales operations, or product management in the life sciences, biopharma, or diagnostics industries
Experience in designing and implementing governance frameworks and compliance policies
Strong understanding of pricing strategy and execution, including incentive structures and list price management
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
