Salesforce Solution Architect

Our Salesforce team at Veeam is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust solutions for our stakeholders. We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking Solution Architect. In this role, you will guide, architect and build at-scale solutions on the Salesforce platform.

A successful candidate will bring extensive experience in Salesforce solution architecture, demonstrating the ability to design innovative solutions for complex business challenges. Strong technical expertise in Salesforce Revenue Cloud and platform capabilities, coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Additionally, a track record of leading large-scale Salesforce implementations and a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends will be essential for success in this role.

Reports to: Director of Salesforce Engineering, Corporate Technology 

Your tasks will include: 

• Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, and translate them into scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions.
• Develop solution architecture designs, including data models, system integrations, workflows, and customizations, leveraging Salesforce best practices and industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from solution design and development to implementation and support.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce platform capabilities, features, and limitations, advising stakeholders on solution feasibility and optimal approaches.
• Assess existing Salesforce implementations and recommend enhancements, optimizations, and migration strategies to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and discussions to gather requirements, present solution designs, and gain consensus on architecture decisions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights and recommendations on how Salesforce technology can drive business value and innovation.
• Conduct architectural reviews, implementation reviews, and quality assurance activities to maintain the integrity and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
• Monitor industry trends, Salesforce platform updates, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.

What we expect from you:

• 8+ years of experience building Salesforce solutions
• 2+ years in Salesforce solution architecture
• Advanced experience with Salesforce Sales and Revenue Cloud
• Advanced experience using Process Builders, Flows, and other Salesforce platform tools
• Advanced understanding of the Software Development Life cycle and Agile methodologies
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, security, and integration patterns.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Will be an advantage:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect preferred
