Primary Purpose of Position: This position performs complex professional work in business requirements analysis, technical consultation, and in the design and preparation of system integrations. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This position will lead assigned team members in gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects and systems requirements to support the needs of the organization. In addition, this position serves as a liaison between the IT Department and other departments or individuals to understand and evaluate workflows, structure and operations of the organization so that recommendations can be made on possible solutions to assist with the agency achieving its goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of Systems Analyst and application management experience; or graduation from a technical school or community college with a two-year degree in an information technology field and 5 years of Systems Analyst and complex application management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that includes managing complex software applications including client service, web based applications, and applications development. Experience in agile development methodology. Experience in project management.
Three (3) years of administrative supervisory experience required.
Education and Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology field and 3 years of Systems Analyst and complex application management experience. Healthcare claims experience preferred. Scrum Master Experience preferred
