ABOUT US

At the heart of AG1 lies a commitment to our mission to empower people to take ownership of their health. Since 2010, we've dedicated ourselves to bringing Foundational Nutrition to people around the world.

Our ethos is deeply rooted in science, with an unwavering dedication to continuous improvement. We leverage and contribute to the latest research to deliver a powerful, straightforward solution for optimal health to our customers. We harness the finest ingredients so that every scoop of AG1 gives you the nutrients you need with the simplicity you want in a daily routine.

Likewise, our organization puts the same energy into creating an environment that is a reflection of the cultural values that define who we are and how we work together. These seven values— One Spectacular Life, Customer Obsessed, Radical Ownership, High Performance, Courage, Amazing Humans and Continuous Pursuit of Excellence —are a representation of the high standards we set, and hold ourselves accountable to, when it comes to building our global team.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Director, Performance Marketing who will drive efficient customer acquisition while aggressively scaling our existing digital acquisition channels. This individual must have deep experience across performance marketing channels and be comfortable reporting on KPIs and delivering actionable insights to drive strategy forward.

We are looking for somebody who will immediately embrace AG1’s experimentation mindset and continually test and iterate. Reporting to the VP, Growth (UK & IRE), this role works cross-functionally across the business, ensuring that we are constantly developing new, performance-focused creative that incorporates best practices and drives efficient customer acquisition. The role will be working in a fast-paced, analytical yet creative environment that offers the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business and team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Manage day-to-day paid acquisition campaigns including planning, execution, optimizations, budget pacing and reporting across channels. Channels include (but are not limited to) Paid Social, Search, YouTube and Display.
  • Measure and analyze campaign and channel performance, in terms of both acquisition efficiency and LTV. Understand (and optimise) the drivers of channel performance, including creative, targeting and landing page optimisation.
  • Support the design, execution and analysis of channel testing and experimentation needed to understand and optimize the effectiveness of campaigns and targeting.
  • Proactively conduct analysis of plan variances and emerging trends resulting in recommendations to enable AG1 to hit acquisition targets and maximize portfolio effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with creative teams internally and externally to produce effective, performance-focused creative and compelling landing pages. This includes writing briefs, running creative/landing page tests and maintaining a feedback loop through reporting and insights.
  • Analysing results at a granular level to identify what channels and tactics are driving business growth.
  • Establish testing roadmap and protocols across digital acquisition.
  • Work with Marketing Technology and Digital Innovation to identify tools and integrations required to support roadmaps.
  • Work cross functionally with the marketing teams to support actionable insights to improve overall marketing and acquisition effectiveness. Monitor KPIs and trends, and conduct deep analysis in the performance KPIs to elevate risks/opportunities within different marketing channels and tactics.
  • Advance and scale our digital audience, targeting and activation capabilities across the Google Marketing Cloud, Meta, and other touchpoints, in close collaboration with Marketing and Data Engineering.
  • Manage offline and digital campaign measurement capabilities around multi-touch-attribution (MTA), incrementality testing, campaign activations and assume accountability for supporting existing media mix modeling (MMM) initiatives.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 10+ years of agency or in-house experience directly managing paid performance marketing acquisition campaigns (i.e. not just managing agencies), with a particular focus on Meta and Google.
  • Prior work experience in multiple European markets preferred.
  • Prior work experience with high-growth, premium, and/or subscription/recurring revenue businesses preferred.
  • ‘Start up mentality’ - happy to use experience to deliver excellence as an individual contributor first and foremost.
  • Experience managing monthly media budgets.
  • Experience using advanced marketing measurement tools.
  • Proven track record building out new channels and establishing testing protocols.
  • Passion for effective ad creative: creative development will play a part in this role and the right candidate will be able to generate new concepts and communicate best practices.
  • A deep understanding of performance marketing metrics and how they work together to influence results.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to use data to optimize day-to-day performance and identify daily, weekly, monthly trends.
  • Proactive, loves taking initiative and proposing new ideas; strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
  • A desire to follow broader cultural conversation across social media around key topic areas: health and wellness, sports, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • A full life outside of work with personal passions and hobbies!

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentive plans.
  • A 100% remote working environment (excluding Laboratory positions), which has been implemented from day one.
  • A strong company culture that is enforced through the hiring process to ensure values alignment and a highly collaborative team.
  • A mission-driven approach to everything that we do, with an overall goal to significantly improve our customers’ health and wellness.
  • A high-growth, dynamic environment with opportunities for your direct impact to be felt.
  • Paid holidays, company-wide mental health days, and unlimited PTO (based on your country of residence).
  • In-person team meetups for optimal collaboration, team building and accelerating productivity.
  • A work environment and culture that is based on high performance, productivity and continuous improvement.
  • The opportunity to work with passionate, high-growth, business-minded colleagues who bring their all to our mission each and every day.
  • Access to AG1 products and branded swag.
  • Monthly telecom stipend to offset some of the costs of home internet/wifi for eligible team members.
  • All other benefits and insurances as required by law, based on your specific country of residence.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is £92,700 - £107,100 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role.
