Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support project coordination and workflow management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing tasks, assigning deadlines, facilitating communication, and tracking project progress using Asana. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage project documentation efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Creation & Organization: Structure and organize project tasks in Asana, ensuring all work items are properly documented.
  • Task Assignment & Deadline Setting: Assign tasks to team members and set appropriate deadlines to keep projects on schedule and aligned with client SLAs.
  • Project Structure Management: Maintain project structures in Asana, including creating sections and organizing tasks for clarity and efficiency.
  • Communication Facilitation: Use Asana’s collaboration tools (comments, @mentions) to ensure seamless communication and team alignment.
  • Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor task progress, update statuses, and provide necessary reports on project developments.
  • Documentation & File Management: Maintain project-related documents and assets, ensuring accessibility in Asana and Google Drive.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time (1-hour unpaid break)

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with project management tools (Asana preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Google Drive for document management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
