Requirements:


Must Haves:


  • Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1 or N2, official JLPT certification not required)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to B2 or higher)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration between Japan and CEE-based teams
  • Ability to make decisions with limited information
  • Capability to guide teams through uncertainty and complexity to deliver agreed-upon outcomes
  • Strong sense of independence and self-reliance


Nice to Have:


  • Hands-on experience in IT project management, particularly in software development life cycles
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and their impact on project deliverables
  • Prior experience in people management
  • Openness to working with Japanese culture


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and oversee project plans and deliverables
  • Build and sustain reliable and effective communication with clients and the GlobalLogic project teams
  • Customize processes to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Track, manage, and address project risks
  • Lead a distributed team working on the solution
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Provide clear and organized project status updates and highlight challenges to stakeholders
