Our client is seeking an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled travel expert who excels in handling complex corporate travel bookings and providing concierge-level service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional travel solutions, managing high-end client requirements, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for corporate customers.
Manage end-to-end business travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rail bookings (Eurostar and British Rail preferred), and ground transportation.
Utilize GDS systems to book and amend travel itineraries efficiently.
Provide expert travel consultation to corporate clients, ensuring cost-effective and time-sensitive solutions.
Work closely with high-net-worth individuals and corporate accounts, offering a concierge-style service tailored to their specific needs.
Handle last-minute travel changes and urgent client requests with efficiency and professionalism.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure transparency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with travel industry trends, airline policies, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in business travel consulting, preferably within a UK, US, or Canadian market.
GDS proficiency: Travelport preferred (Sabre experience is a plus).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver outstanding service to high-end clients.
Attention to detail: Accuracy is crucial when dealing with corporate clients who require meticulous planning.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience handling rail bookings (Eurostar and British Rail preferred, though training can be provided).
Conscientious and professional approach to handling client requests and working within a corporate travel team.
Flexible schedule, as the role requires rotational shifts, including weekends.
