Purpose
The role will be responsible for all financial aspects of preparing and providing relevant information for the company stakeholders and ensuring all of the company’s financial and tax compliance obligations are met. The role will work with and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
The role is eligible for remote working however candidates must be resident within an hour of a UK airport with flights to Dublin. You should be willing and able to travel to Dublin Head Office at least once a month with occasional travel to the US and EU required (3-4 times per year).
Key Responsibilities
· Preparation of management accounts.
· Preparation of journals and all account reconciliations to support the management accounts.
· Preparation of management account analyses and appropriate analytical review/analyses.
· Review of management accounts with CFO.
· Dealing with other management reporting requirements.
· Liaise with external statutory auditors, preparation of appropriate audit file, addressing queries arising.
· Overseeing of VAT and Payroll tax compliance obligations.
· Overseeing of payroll administration.
· Forecasting and budgeting with all departments and stakeholders in the company.
· Maintaining the company’s financial systems and processes to support current business and future growth.
Person Specification
Qualifications
· Fully qualified member of a recognised professional accountancy body with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
