Position Description
FlexGen is seeking a dynamic Lifecycle Sales Manager to enhance the value of our energy storage solutions by optimizing the efficient deployment of service technicians and driving customer success across North America. This key role will oversee the performance and utilization of our service team, manage service contracts, and identify opportunities for revenue growth within existing customer accounts. The Lifecycle Sales Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and customer success teams to streamline service delivery and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Major Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to maximize technician efficiency and ensure adherence to the agreed scope of work.
Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to align scheduling with service commitments.
Partner with Supply Chain and OEMs to optimize warranty, dispatch, and invoicing processes through ASP programs. Ensure adequate Authorized Service Provider contracts with OEMs are in place, allowing FlexGen to perform warranty work while maintaining compliance.
Align additional service contracts with Authorized Service Provider agreements, ensuring consistency and adherence to warranty requirements.
Regularly review and update contracts to meet changing customer needs or business objectives
Drive revenue by securing field service work from OEM-authorized service provider (ASP) programs, ensuring FlexGen handles warranty work rather than relying on OEM-dispatched technicians.
Identify and pursue upselling or cross-selling opportunities for lifecycle services based on customer requirements and service history.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to develop tailored service packages that align with the company’s offerings and customer expectations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as technician utilization rates, service response times, and contract compliance.
Provide regular reports and insights to management to drive informed decision-making.
Proactively work with our Asset Managers regarding service-related matters, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to discuss performance, scope adherence, and additional opportunities.
Ensure technicians are properly trained and certified to perform within the authorized service provider scope Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and service standards.
Partner with operations, sales, and customer success teams to streamline workflows and address bottlenecks.
Act as a key liaison between sales and operations to ensure seamless execution of service contracts.
Position Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in the Energy Business with a deep understanding of lifecycle solutions, service scopes, and technical workflows in the Energy Storage sector.
Proven ability to manage multiple service agreements, scheduling, and resource allocation effectively.
Strong skills in upselling and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Ability to analyze service data, track KPIs, and identify trends or areas for improvement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
Ensuring high efficiency and deployment effectiveness.
Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance performance.
Customer Satisfaction Scores (CSAT/NPS): Maintaining high customer engagement and satisfaction.
Driving lifecycle service agreements and expanding customer accounts.
Ensuring all commitments are met.
Minimizing downtime and resolving issues proactively.
