Scope3 is a fully remote company and largely asynchronous to provide flexible working hours and to operate globally, with concentrations in New York and Europe. At this time, we are hiring in Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany, and the United States.
About The Role
We are hiring a Solutions Consultant based in the US - East Coast to join our globally distributed Solutions team. Reporting to the Head of Publishers and Platforms Solutions Consulting, this individual will work hand in hand with our publisher and ad tech platform clients to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations. They will also be an expert in Scope3 offerings and solutions, helping clients to translate emissions measurement into meaningful reduction in their carbon footprints.
The Solutions Consultant educates partners on sustainability and implementation of best practices that drive efficiency and effectiveness, helping partners to grow safe and sustainable. The ideal candidate is an ad tech domain expert who will thrive in a start-up environment where everything moves fast, and nothing is set in stone. As an early member of the Scope3 Solutions team, you’ll play an important role in how we develop our engagement models.
Responsibilities
For Scope3’s clients and partners:
Analyze customer digital monetization and ad tech stacks to determine the best way to integrate Scope3 and drive the best business outcomes
Onboard and train new clients to the Scope3 platform, implementing our products and solutions
Manage technical projects, maintain integrations, and gather data to refine our emissions model
Consult on reduction strategies and provide ongoing enablement/support
Evangelize and educate the market about sustainable advertising, Scope3, and the industry’s path to Net Zero
Educate customers and partners on the environmental challenges faced by the programmatic industry and how they can be overcome
Build healthy and strong relationships with key stakeholders based on the ability to earn their trust and deliver value
Evaluate key metrics and proactively identify pain points as well as opportunities for growth
As a Core Member Of Scope3’s Solutions Team
Understand Scope3 products intimately including how we measure CO2 emissions throughout the advertising supply chain
Think systemically about all parts of the advertising value chain: brands, agencies, AdTech platforms, publishers, and broadcasters
Be technical and data savvy, with an ability to answer tech questions and assist with troubleshooting
Work closely with internal teams (commercial, product and other supporting functions) on behalf of customers, helping solve problems in the short-term while contributing to long-term solutions that can benefit Scope3’s entire book of business
Create tailored training and best practice materials that showcase value of Scope solutions
Collect and provide feedback on Scope3’s offering and ideas on how to improve products, operations, and processes
Build repeatable processes and seek continuous improvement to enable the team to scale
Train and support other members of the Solutions team
Previous Experience
Demonstrated success managing complex client engagements for a company in the advertising tech ecosystem, gained from working at or with publishers or ad tech platforms
Aptitude and enthusiasm for explaining technical concepts to non-technical people
Experience managing competing priorities and multiple projects
Possess a natural interest for the topic of sustainability and how it’s shaping the future of advertising and the media industries
Familiarity with APIs and web-based technologies
Preference May Be Given To Candidates With The Following
