Engineer, End User Computing

Reporting to the Manager, End User Computing, the End User Computing Engineer has responsibility for managing the engineering aspects of our end user computing environment. This role is responsible for the technical administration, governance, and compliance aligned to asset management and device management across our corporate and retail store locations including international locations. The EUC Engineer is a key player in strategic roadmap planning, technology selection, compliance management, SOP creation, and team mentoring.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Serve as technical team lead on programs or projects that are assigned by management
• Research, analyze, evaluate, and provide recommendations to management on future technology direction
• Provide training, mentoring, consulting, and knowledge transfer to other EUC staff
• Configure, test and deploy hardware/software configurations
• Produce and maintain Desktop/Laptop and MAC standards, knowledge base, operating procedures, guidelines, and system documentation
• Develop and implement engineering standards and processes
• Troubleshoot hardware and application configurations as it relates to workstation performance and end user experience
• Serve as an escalation point of contact from L1 and L2 teams
• Package, test, and deploy system and application updates/patches to the end-user environment
• Build automation into daily processes to improve the ease of doing business
• Manage multiple end-user support and business requests effectively
• Manage and maintain, master images for all business units and consultants
• Ensure that effective communication is maintained with the peers, partners, and leadership
• Manage priorities to meet operational and project goals
• Recommend and implement improvements to desktop architecture and design
• Manage service escalation to resolution and identify continuous improvement opportunities as appropriate
• Keep the knowledge base and runbook for the team updated with new resolution and process appropriately
• Act as an internal consultant and architect for the IT EUC Team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced degree in computer engineering, computer science, engineering or information systems or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of IT desktop engineering and end user support experience
• End user Asset and Device Management Experience- Preferred experience with both Windows and Apple devices
• Demonstrated experience with end point management: anti-virus, patching, peripheral, and cloud
• Demonstrated experience documenting process and procedures to establish and maintain SOPs and knowledge base articles
• ITIL Certification or equivalent experience
• IT Governance/Compliance experience
• Retail POS Support a plus

Base Salary: From $70,000 - $95,000*

Bonus Eligibility: Yes, eligible for annual target bonus based on company and individual performance
