As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will oversee all operational aspects of a French Startup. They are developing a small electric vehicle designed for shared urban transportation, fully connected and integrating a global innovation: a removable battery system. Their ambition is to transform urban mobility by offering a sustainable, connected, and scalable solution while addressing the challenge of limited charging infrastructure in cities.

Your role will be pivotal in scaling production, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient vehicle manufacturing processes.

Engagement Details:

• Location: Paris, France - this role requires relocation to Paris.
• Start Date: Q2 2025 (April – June)
• Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the industrial roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee supply chain, procurement, logistics, and after-sales operations.
• Manage outsourced assembly operations and industrial partnerships.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Optimize supply chain flows, inventory, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure adherence to automotive quality and compliance standards (ISO, IATF).
• Build and lead high-performing operational teams across logistics, procurement, and quality.
• Define and monitor key operational KPIs for efficiency and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in the automotive industry with expertise in operations and supply chain management.
• Strong background in industrial production, procurement, and supplier management.
• Experience with outsourced manufacturing and working with industrial partners.
• Proven track record in strategic negotiation, logistics, and production planning.
• Deep knowledge of ISO, IATF, and automotive regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in English (required) and French (bilingual or native required).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to scale industrial processes in a high-growth environment.
