Claims Contract Attorney


Remote - Must live within 50 miles of Beaverton, OR or Phoenix, AZ


12 month contract

Please note: Successful applicants will be employees of Raise, working at Epiq facilities with both Epiq and other contract employees.


Job Responsibilities

  • The attorneys will perform various duties including but not limited to:
  • Analyzing claim documents
  • Preparing detailed responses to sometimes complex written inquiries of claimants and counsel
  • Fielding sometimes complex telephone inquiries from claimants and counsel
  • Receiving training, direction and oversight from project directors, project managers, project co-ordinators, and/or other project team members
  • "Best-in-class” customer service is expected to be provided to both internal and external clients. The highest levels of professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work are required.


Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited U.S. law school (foreign law degree may suffice)
  • Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Litigation experience preferred
  • Class action and/or mass tort experience a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility
  • Customer service approach

Education Requirements:

  • Must have JD from accredited U.S. law school (foreign law degree may suffice)
  • Active License required
