💼 About the position:
Join us as a
Key Account Manager (Industrial Sector) and help bring clean solar energy to Mexico! In this role, you’ll work closely with our
Sales team, CEO, Product Leads, and partners to identify business needs across Mexico, map tailored sales processes, and position Bright’s solutions to address those needs effectively.
You’ll be responsible for playing a critical role in achieving our goal of installing 66 new MW of solar projects by June 2025. Success in this role requires a results-driven professional with expertise in B2B sales, partner relationship management, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment.
Tasks
💻 Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Identify and engage industrial clients, tailoring sales approaches to meet their specific energy needs.
- Manage Complex Sales Cycles: Lead negotiations with senior stakeholders, guiding them through the decision-making process with a consultative, value-driven approach.
- Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish trust with key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to align customer needs with Bright’s capabilities.
- Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets: Drive measurable growth through proactive pipeline management and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
🥇 Who You Are:
- B2B Sales Expert: 6+ years of experience in industrial B2B sales, with a strong track record in high-value consultative selling ($2-10MM MXN contract sizes, 3-6 month sales cycles).
- Strategic Negotiator: You confidently handle high-stakes negotiations with senior executives, ensuring win-win agreements.
- Results-Oriented: You thrive in a goal-driven environment, consistently exceeding targets and driving growth.
- Proactive and Solution-Focused: You don’t wait for opportunities—you create them. You anticipate challenges and address them proactively.
- Strong Relationship Builder: You know how to establish credibility and trust, turning prospects into long-term partners.
🔹 Nice to Have:
- Experience in solar energy or renewable energy sales.
- Familiarity with industrial energy consumption patterns and regulations.
🎯 Key Objectives (OKRs):
- Expand Market Share: Capture 30% of Mexico’s industrial solar sector.
- Optimize Project Returns: Increase post-commissioning weighted average IRR of industrial projects by 1% by Q3.
- Maximize Customer Experience: Ensure 100% conversion from Welcome Call to commissioning approval within 120 days (currently 67%).
- Ensure SLA Compliance: Achieve 100% adherence to industrial SLAs in Operations and Customer Experience teams (currently 81%).
