Position Title: IT Applications Manager - Oracle Fusion HR

Overview:
This role is responsible for managing and supporting applications utilized by the HR team for their operations, with a focus on Oracle Fusion HR platforms. The position oversees architecture, support, maintenance, and enhancements while driving operational efficiency through a combination of onshore and offshore resources. The manager leads a team of analysts and developers, ensuring solutions align with business needs, IT standards, and security requirements. Collaboration with IT and business partners is essential to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to improve HR applications, processes, and services, recommending solutions that meet business objectives.
• Serve as the primary contact for HR business partners for system-related matters.
• Hire, coach, and manage team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Oversee daily operations and production support activities to maintain system integrity and resolve incidents.
• Implement best practices aligned with IT frameworks and manage application support services with SLAs where needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and maintenance plans for HR applications, ensuring high availability and controlled change processes.
• Collaborate with IT leaders to align solutions with business, security, and infrastructure standards.
• Establish and adhere to promotion processes to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Design and implement disaster recovery, data backup, and archiving strategies for critical systems.
• Analyze existing applications for effectiveness and develop strategies for improvement or optimization.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects, partnering with the project management team as needed.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through structured reporting, procedures, and innovative ideas.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing teams in ERP environments, particularly in HCM or Finance systems like Oracle Fusion and UKG.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with UKG Payroll and Workforce Central, including configuration and integration.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion environments is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to manage Payroll and Time & Labor solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• 5+ years of experience integrating Payroll and Time & Labor solutions with HCM systems.
• Strong collaboration skills with business leaders and vendors to deliver optimal solutions.
• Experience working with managed service partners across offshore and nearshore models.
