Position Title: IT Applications Manager – Oracle Fusion Finance

Overview:
This role leads the management and support of applications used by the Finance team for business operations, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle EPM. The position oversees system architecture, maintenance, deployment, and enhancement while driving operational efficiency through a combination of onshore and offshore resources. This individual will manage a team of analysts and developers, ensure adherence to IT and security standards, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional IT and business partners is a key aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of analysts and developers skilled in finance applications, including Oracle Fusion Financials and EPM.
• Develop a deep understanding of finance business processes and data workflows.
• Analyze objectives and requirements to guide teams in solution design and implementation.
• Create and execute detailed implementation plans for approved solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of small to medium-sized projects or system enhancements following standard SDLC processes.
• Oversee production and operational support for finance applications, leveraging internal teams or managed service partners.
• Collaborate across IT and business functions to execute support and enhancement activities effectively.
• Define and enforce design principles aligned with IT and security standards, ensuring governance and compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of application configuration, integration, and associated functionality.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of patches, updates, and recovery strategies.
• Plan and prioritize development and enhancement requests in collaboration with stakeholders, guiding team members toward successful outcomes.
• Stay hands-on with technology while balancing leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing teams within ERP environments, particularly in Finance and HCM.
• 5+ years of experience leading Oracle Fusion Financials and EPM support or implementation teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Finance modules, including AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Projects.
• 5+ years of experience supporting EPM environments, such as budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliation.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Experience managing offshore and nearshore managed service partnerships.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with expertise in business process analysis and solution design.
• In-depth knowledge of finance business processes and data flow design.
• Ability to create and interpret process flow diagrams, data architecture, and other technical documentation.
• Project management expertise and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to various audiences, bridging technical and business contexts.
• Adaptable and composed in high-pressure situations.
