This role supports the Architecture team for new, relocations, remodels and store roll out programs and will be responsible for façade architectural design, window graphic programs and execution while running multiple projects simultaneously.

A Day in the Life

Produces architectural renderings of façade elevations using digital tools and design & artistic skill.
Produces façade and signage exhibits in line with the Burlington Brand to communicate design intent.
Solves design issues and produces architectural renderings and façade finish documentation specific to each store site.
Researches and applies signage code, landlord and center design guidelines while developing designs based on landlord and local municipal requirements.
Researches and explores architectural materials and makes recommendations to advance performance and cost targets of company.
Frequent interaction with city planning departments to ensure understanding and adherence to code, real estate brokers and landlord contacts via phone and digital video conference tools to gather all information and documents relevant to project.
Work closely with Store Planning, Design & Architecture team with the objective of meeting or exceeding project schedules, budgets and quality standards.

You Will Come With

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a combination of Associate Architecture degree and drafting/design experience preferred
Experience working on commercial architecture projects
Software requirements: Photoshop, Sketchup
It would also be nice to have AUTOCAD, V-Ray and/or other design/rendering software
Strong skills with MS office, and Adobe Suites, Bluebeam experience a plus
Experience working with project tracking tools
Ability to travel 25% (approx. 1 week per month)
