As a North American Product Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the market position of Ross Video’s production switcher product lines across North America. Collaborating with the Product Management and Sales teams, you’ll help drive new business, expand sales opportunities, and ultimately maximize revenue. The Product Specialist will be the primary point of contact for the North American Sales, Solutions and Support Teams.

The Product Specialist will work closely with sales and marketing teams on the creation of supporting materials including RFP/RFI responses, Project/Proposal Reviews, Targeted Solution Presentations focusing on Production Switchers.

The Product Specialist will assist the Technical Support and Training Teams. This role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills to educate customers on the value and benefits of Ross solutions. Assisting in pre/post sale activities to ensure customer success. Frequent travel in North America will be essential to the role.

What the job Is all about:

  • Develop New Business : Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for Ross Video’s live production solutions within North America.
  • Client Engagement : Present, demonstrate, and discuss the capabilities, features, and benefits of production switchers to both new and existing clients, converting prospects into long-term customers.
  • Technical Expertise : Offer in-depth knowledge of production switcher systems, including setup, operation, and system architecture. Provide insight on how Ross products compare to competitor solutions.
  • Customer Support Assistance : Assist Technical Support Team on escalations, Product Operations Inquires requiring higher level of product experience and workflow related expertise.
  • Inside Sales Support & Collaboration : Assist Sales Team with quote configurations, RFP, RFI and tender responses. Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and strong, positive relationships.
  • Sales Enablement : Partner with Ross sales teams to assist in expanding business opportunities and maximizing product adoption.
  • Travel : Support sales opportunities across North America, attend trade shows, and represent Ross Video at key industry events.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 5 years in live production environments with a focus on production switchers and server systems.
  • Strong familiarity with key components in live video production systems and understanding of major broadcast standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate Ross production switchers and servers.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, self-reliant, and passionate about Ross Video and its products.
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Collaborative team player who works well with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time across North America.
