Job Summary

As a Senior Backend (13684), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

Server Logic Development: Design and develop efficient server-side logic, databases, and APIs, ensuring performance and scalability of the system.
Software Architecture: Lead the design of robust, scalable, and secure software architectures, choosing the best technologies and design patterns.
Optimization and Maintenance: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimize performance, and ensure ongoing maintenance of backend systems.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
Professional/ Advanced English skills.
+5 years of experience.
Python Experience
SQL Experience
Data Pipeline knowledge
Ingest & Modeling for Data
Tests / Error Handling
Would be nice if they have knowledge of: AirFlow, Snowflake, Terraform, Docker, MongoDB, Elastic, Postgres, Azure DevOps, etc.
We are: the airflow is a managed MWAA instance, the delta lake sits in AWS S3, the docker containers run in ECS, etc. So experience getting around the AWS console and/or CLI and navigating CloudWatch logs, etc would be very useful.
Someone who can work in tandem with business on creating visualizations with Plotly and Streamlit
