Overview:

Position: Creative Email Developer

Location: Remote OK - If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule

Salary Range: $55K-65K/yr d.o.e.

Overview

The Email Specialist will work in close alignment with the Creative Team including graphic designers, developers, and project managers to help shape a rapidly growing department of the email strategy and design team. As our Email Specialist, you will manage the building, testing, and coordination of email campaigns and digital communications as well as collaborate with departments and teams to provide strategic recommendations and build emails within desired communication platforms.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Creative Communications Lead to execute email communications including building, testing, and deploying internal and external email communications.
Be a core component of the build-out and transition to Braze and also be responsible for continuing to maintain and update the modules within Braze.
Perform quality assurance and troubleshoot code rendering across multiple desktop and mobile devices using Email on Acid and analytics platforms.
Implement A/B and multivariate testing on emails and content to continually maximize performance and engagement.
Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of email templates, ensuring they are responsive and aligned with brand guidelines.
Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and content creators to build email creatives that are on-brand, strategically sound, and market-relevant.
Design and implement new features to improve the customer experience while staying informed on brand standards and creative best practices.
Revise and update existing email templates and content as needed.

Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of email HTML/CSS code standards and ability to independently troubleshoot rendering issues in a wide array of platforms as it relates to email.
Experience with Adobe Suite
Experience with Code Editors (ex. Visual Studio, Brackets)
Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision.
Solid knowledge of email technologies, best practices, and industry challenges.
High attention to detail, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
