Job Description: 

The Order Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for managing all stock allocations as required in order to prevent shortages to customer sales orders. This role will ensure that allocations are based on business rules and customer prioritization provided by both the internal Customer Strategy and Demand & Supply Planning teams at Nestle Health Science USA to reflect commercial strategies. The Order Fulfillment Specialist will also collaborate with other cross-functional business partners to align on actions to mitigate the out of stock risk, while managing customer expectations proactively. This is a remote-based opportunity. 

Requirements: 

Managing Demand 

•    Understands parameters that have an impact on the allocation process (such as ATP scope of Check, Sales Order Horizon, etc.) and manages the settings in cross-functional alignment.
•    Executes strategies from Operational Demand & Supply Review (OpsDSR) to ensure stock allocation based on business priorities and customer prioritization. 
•    Leverages GLOBE functionalities to automate the allocation process to mitigate out of stock risk (e.g. Product Allocation Cockpit, Unavailable Product Check, Material Determinations/Substitutions, etc.) in the following scenarios:
o    Short supply
o    Promotions
o    New item launch
o    Seasonal items
o    Discontinued items
o    Price / pack change  
•    Identifies and executes mitigation action to allocate inventory to sales orders to prevent shortages while leveraging respective GLOBE functionalities (such as Reservations, Allocations, BOPI, DMC, etc.) and escalates to and engages other functions when required to determine mitigation actions.
•    Communicates potential shortages to the Customer Solutions Specialist for mitigation actions that require customer contact and issue resolution.
•    Ensures timely delivery note creation and application of appropriate root cause for unconfirmed items.
 

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
 

•    Works collaboratively with internal and external partners (such as Transportation, 3rd Party Warehouses, etc.) to ensure fulfillment of orders.
•    Participates in Operational Reviews and monitors target achievements and relevant KPIs/health checks. 
•    Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Order Fulfillment process in collaboration with cross functional partners and BPL. 
 

Requirements: 
 

•    High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
•    2+ years of professional work experience in Supply Chain, Customer Solutions or a Customer Service role required (e.g. Order Management, Distribution, Inventory Management, Transportation and/or Demand and Supply Planning, etc.). 
•    Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required. 
•    Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, time management and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships). 
•    Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. 
•    Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills (with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data). 
•    Must be results-driven and detail-oriented. 
•    Demonstrated proficiency in SAP and Power BI is highly preferred. 
•    Willing and able to travel up to and including 5% based on the needs of the team and the business. 
 

The approximate pay range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
