About the Position

The People Operations Generalist, Associate is a senior-level professional who is integral to overseeing essential processes such as benefits administration, compensation, and compliance while supporting impactful People Operations projects.   • People Operations Acumen: Strong expertise in benefits administration, compensation, compliance, and leave of absence management. A deep understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws is essential, with a preference for familiarity with UK employment and immigration regulations. PHR or SHRM-CP credentials are preferred. Experience with PEOs or establishment of new entities, a plus.

  • Data Management: Ensures employee records are accurate, organized, and compliant across BambooHR and other systems. Identifies and resolves inconsistencies, and collaborates on improving data processes. Drives audits and reporting needs.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages all aspects of our benefits programs for our US and UK team members, including claims resolution, processing changes, invoice management, benefits compliance, collaboration with our benefits broker, and serving as the primary point of contact for team member inquiries.
  • Administers and oversees leave of absences, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining accurate records, supporting team members throughout the leave period, and partnering with managers to facilitate smooth transitions during absences.
  • Coordinates the annual compensation and bonus review process, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, coordinating with legal counsel as necessary.
  • Coordinates compliance training programs, including Sexual Harassment Prevention and other mandatory workplace training.
  • Maintains business licenses, technical registrations, and client surveys as needed.
  • Assists in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures and maintains the employee handbook.
  • Administers and monitors our quarterly performance management program, and other employee development programs.
  • Supports managers in addressing employee relations issues, providing guidance and advice on how to handle workplace concerns, conflicts, or performance challenges.
  • Conducts stay and exit interviews as needed to gather feedback, understand team member experiences, and identify areas for improvement within TEECOM.
  • Supports People Operations projects and initiatives to enhance the team member experience and support leadership.
  • Performs other People Ops work as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in HR roles focusing on benefits, compliance, or compensation
