Job description

JOB TITLE: Application Architect
DURATION: 4+ years
LOCATION: Louisiana, it's a remote role.

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
Client is looking for a Resource who can serve as an architect for an organization, providing suggestions, solutions and reviews of current and new systems being developed. Ideally this person will come from a hands-on, technical background, knowing how to do the work of the teams they are working with. This person will work closely with other architects throughout to serve as a review of systems that they are working with, to ensure that standards are being upheld across the organization.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
● Experience with the .NET framework, public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), private data center environments, and Automation/Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.)
● Experience in SDLC including associated deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts
● Previous Infrastructure/System Engineering experience in heterogeneous environments Expert level technical skill in one or more technology disciplines (.net core application design; DevOps, high availability solutions)
● Recent experience leading the technical design of distributed systems or other complex projects
● 10+ years of relevant work experience delivering enterprise customer facing solutions
● 6+ years of relevant work experience designing and building enterprise class distributed systems
● 6+ years of relevant work experience in highly regulated industries.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
● Architect level certifications for one or more technical disciplines (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Networking, or Security)
● Previous experience with Department of Public Safety applications and systems
