Job Summary:

Provide day-to-day oversight, including administration, implementation, supervision, communication and strategy of the Translation Center of Excellence staff and programming. Owns the creation, management, and oversight of digital translation best practices, processes, and staff.

Job Duties:

  • Leads, coaches, and develops a team of product managers
  • Provides direction and expectations to product manager(s) and team(s)
  • Oversees portfolio budgets and contracts
  • Responsible for quality control of their portfolio
  • Recognizes and confronts underlying problems and difficult business realities
  • Anticipates actions and reactions in the market
  • Breaks logjams on lingering decisions
  • Rebalances resources considering impacts to all stakeholders
  • Reapplies process improvements from one team across other teams
  • Creates a desirable team environment and collaboration across teams
  • Continuously gathers employee input and acts quickly on issues
  • Ensures innovation, development, management, and implementation best practices and standard operating procedures for product development are met
  • Troubleshoots process issues hindering teams
  • Reapplies process improvements from one team across other teams
  • Develops portfolio progress reports
  • Reports out progress to senior leadership along with recommendations on areas of opportunity and velocity increase

Bachelor's Degree- (Required), Master's Degree- (Preferred)

Experience:
