Job Summary

Potential candidate will be responsible for managing all project tracking and forecasting and maintaining scope of work and budget. Candidate must be capable of interacting with client and supervise a design team and sub-consultants to ensure project standards are met and delivered on time.  The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, understand code requirements and engineering standards, work efficiently and multitask.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

  • Perform site visits to obtain data required to complete project
  • Create civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD for wireless site builds and upgrades
  • Manage CAD design team and Field Technicians
  • Coordinate all work with Structural Department
  • Coordinate required special inspections and manage process
  • Review and redline work prepared by team, maintaining production schedules
  • Understand the client’s network and equipment
  • Manage client schedule and expectations
  • Meet with client(s) and report schedule and market for new work
  • Interact with city/town, client and contractors to resolve scope changes and RFIs
  • Write proposals
  • Some travel required 
  • Keep Track of Time on Projects/Training/Meetings/Etc.
  • Work with Structural Department Program Manager or Higher on training
  • Complete company required training/policy reviews in a timely manner
  • Manage a CAD design team of 1 to 5 employees and 1 to 2 field technicians

Qualifications:

What You Will Need

  • 3 or more years of wireless telecommunications experience
  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering degree
  • Proficient in CAD
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
  • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Travel to local sites will be required. Travel is primarily in the northeast during the business day, although some projects may require occasional overnight travel
