To continue our momentum, we’re looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to take ownership of our marketing infrastructure, analytics, and automation, ensuring that every marketing dollar and effort drives measurable revenue impact. You’ll develop the vision, processes, and programs to enable operational excellence, marketing efficiency, and pipeline acceleration.
As Director of Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for both defining the strategy and executing the work needed to build a high-functioning marketing operations team. You’ll oversee the marketing funnel, data integrity, attribution models, analytics, automation, and process optimization, ensuring that marketing operates with precision, accountability, and efficiency. You will partner with demand generation, revenue operations, sales, finance, and analytics to deliver insights, refine strategy, and implement the best-in-class processes and tools needed to scale effectively.

What You'll DoBuild a reporting framework that connects marketing investments to pipeline creation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.Partner with the Analytics team to create and manage dashboards and reports that measure campaign performance, inbound/outbound efficiency, and pipeline generation.Continuously refine pipeline attribution models to ensure alignment with our customer journey and marketing touchpoints.Establish the processes, technology, and programs needed to support annual marketing goals and objectives.Partner with the VP of Demand Generation to assess strategic marketing programs, identify trends, and troubleshoot hypothesis-based business problems.Drive operational rigor, ensuring marketing execution is data-driven, accountable, and continuously optimized.Own and evolve Red Canary’s marketing funnel and attribution tooling, ensuring that our systems provide accurate visibility into marketing’s impact.Define marketing pipeline generation targets across all functions and monitor marketing spend efficiency to maximize ROI.Implement and refine lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle tracking to optimize conversion rates and accelerate deal velocity.Own and optimize the martech stack (Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, Drift, intent data tools, etc.), ensuring seamless integrations and automation.Lead marketing automation strategy, ensuring our campaigns and programs operate at peak efficiency.Partner with Analytics and RevOps to build funnel analytics models that provide a clear picture of performance and impact.Build, manage, and grow a high-performing marketing operations team from the ground up.Develop and document marketing operations processes, ensuring consistency and scalability.Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring Red Canary’s marketing function operates at a world-class level.What You'll Bring7+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or demand generation in a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity company.Proven experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing marketing operations teams, while also being a hands-on contributor who leads by example.A data-driven leader who can analyze performance, diagnose inefficiencies, and implement scalable solutions.Deep expertise in marketing automation, CRM (Salesforce), intent data, and ABM tools.Strong understanding of pipeline attribution, revenue analytics, and budget optimization.A proven problem solver and collaborator, experienced in working cross-functionally with sales, finance, and customer success.A growth mindset—always looking to optimize, automate, and improve marketing efficiency.A leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys owning complex challenges.Base salary for this role is $157,400 - $183,500 per year. This role is also eligible for participation in the company's bonus program. This role is eligible for a grant of stock options, subject to the approval of the company's board of directors.
