Gatekeeper is a SaaS-based, next-generation Vendor & Contract Lifecycle Management (VCLM) & Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Solution. We help our customers to restore visibility of their vendor contracts, take control of their vendor and contract processes and safeguard compliance of their third parties.
Gatekeeper has consistently achieved significant, profitable growth YoY, with our customer base including Ford, The Telegraph, Autotrader, SumUp, Crocs and Funding Circle.
Due to our strong global growth and private equity investment from Vista Equity Partners we are looking for an experienced and highly collaborative Financial Controller to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for improving and streamlining financial processes and developing a framework to support future growth . The role will be supported by our external accountancy partners for monthly and year end financial reporting.
As a new role, this is an exciting opportunity to establish best practice and innovative solutions across all of Gatekeeper's finance processes. You should, therefore, be a confident self-starter who enjoys creating processes from scratch as well as reengineering current working practises.
Note: This is a fully remote position, open to applicants based in the UK only.
In this role you will:
Develop and implement a robust framework and review existing processes across the finance function with a view to improving efficiency, automation, control and scalability
Working with the Senior Leadership team, produce regular budget forecasts for each area of the business
Work closely with the CFO to meet and monitor internal budgets, collaborating with department Heads to ensure effective budget management
Control and input the monthly payroll process
Assist with commission and bonus calculations
Manage renewals and revenue invoicing and collections
Own the credit control process
Cash flow monitoring and reconciliations
Work closely with an external accountancy firm to produce financial statements such as monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flows and forecasting
Identify opportunities to optimise the Finance tech stack, seeking efficiencies and greater automationÂ
Administer the Companyâs banking platforms
