  • 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM Sacramento, CA time

Job Description

We’re on the hunt for a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to elevate our online presence and drive engagement across multiple platforms. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to manage and grow the social media accounts for two distinct and exciting industries - HVAC and audio-visual IT. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute innovative social media strategies tailored to both the HVAC and audio-visual IT industries
  • Create engaging, industry-specific content using job site videos and photos provided by our on-ground teams
  • Craft compelling captions and select trending, relevant hashtags to maximize post reach and engagement
  • Manage and schedule posts across multiple social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging
  • Actively engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
  • Analyze social media metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to drive continuous improvement in our digital marketing efforts
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and platform updates, implementing new features and best practices to keep our content fresh and engaging
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and company initiatives
  • Explore opportunities for social media advertising and paid promotions to expand our reach and drive lead generation
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in B2B or technical industries (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media audiences and increasing engagement metrics
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences
  • Experience with image and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Familiarity with HVAC and/or audio-visual IT industries is a plus, but not required – we value your ability to learn and adapt quickly!
  • Portfolio of successful social media campaigns and content creation examples
