Summer Internships: Monday, May 19, 2025 (40/hours per week max)
The User Experience Researcher Intern will support researchers in conducting qualitative and quantitative research that covers the breadth of customer experiences. This role will help collect evidence and insights that will be used to proactively solve feature-level problems.
What You’ll Do
Conduct research project(s) to ensure ongoing customer success and identify product improvements
Leverage research methods such as moderated and unmoderated usability testing, concept testing, surveys, observation, and other techniques to understand users
Organize, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to surface key insights and findings
Craft needed materials for research studies such as research plans, moderator guides, surveys, and presentations for shareouts that align methods and scope with needs and constraints
Collaborate with User Experience Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program (BA/BS or higher) in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods such as moderated and unmoderated usability testing, concept testing, survey design, observation, discovery interviews, etc.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well in a cross-functional team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and collaboration skills
Attention to detail
Travel Requirements and Working Conditions
Minimal travel
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
