Job Summary:
As a member of the Public Affairs team, the Regulatory Affairs Analyst will play an essential role in supporting the public policy lifecycle by identifying, tracking, analyzing, responding, and implementing state and federal regulatory public policy issues across the organization using enterprise risk management principles.
Key Position Details:
**This position is a hybrid position must live within commuting distance of the Allina Commons in MPLS, MN.**

Job Description:
This position is responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts across the organization to identify, analyze and influence state and federal regulatory policy issues that impact care delivery in alignment with key business strategies and mission.
Principal Responsibilities
- Tracking, Analyzing, And Communicating Regulatory Public Policy Issues
- Support the public policy lifecycle with monitoring, identifying, and analyzing state and federal regulations that impact Allina Health, our patients, and communities using principles of enterprise risk management
- Convene internal content experts regularly to solicit input on key regulatory public policy issues
- Participate in educational opportunities pertaining to regulatory issues
- Assist with composing regulatory comment letters using sound judgement and political acumen
- Lead the development of internal regulatory affairs communication products
- Prepare and deliver presentations, participate, and facilitate meetings using remote technology including Microsoft Teams
- Support legislative and regulatory implementation projects
- Develop & maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Database Management
- Serve as primary database manager for regulatory public policy information
- Utilize document filing logic and nomenclature using software tools including Microsoft SharePoint, C360 and other database platforms
- Compose and manage regulatory summaries, analyses, text, presentations, and other supporting documentation in a centralized repository
- Committee, coalition, and project support
- Participate on internal and external committees
- Serve on external coalitions
- Support government relations on legislative matters
- Department operations
- Assist with administrative functions to support department operations
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform other duties as directed by team members and next level leader to support the department and the public policy lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in political science, Public Policy, Public Health or related field
- 2+ years of experience in government affairs, lobbying or health policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification/Skills
- Demonstrated skills and experience in regulatory research, analytics, and writing.
- Experience required in public policy; health care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the regulatory policy making process.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $33.49 to $45.90 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
