Job description

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Fullstak Developer for one of our partners in the Technology, Information, and Media field.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a front-end developer who is proficient in creating dynamic and interactive web applications using JavaScript frameworks, specifically React. You will be working on a project that involves developing and maintaining web interfaces that support natural language processing, topic modelling, and AI for text analysis. You will also collaborate with backend developers, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure the quality and functionality of the web applications. The web application being targeted at C-level executives to show insights from data, you are expected to have familiarity with JavaScript based charting libraries and visualization techniques to build charts. 

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, web development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Strong knowledge of web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, etc. 
  • Experience in developing, testing, and deploying web applications using JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and an excellent grasp of state management with Redux 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in using charting libraries such as Highcharts and creating interactive and responsive graphs and maps for web applications 
  • Strong experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs using tools and frameworks such as Axios, Fetch, etc. 
  • Strong experience in working with/consuming WebSockets using frameworks such as SignalR to build real-time dynamic front ends that automatically update their state based on backend events 
  • Experience in using cloud platforms such as Azure, and using their services and tools for hosting, scaling, and monitoring web applications 
  • Experience in using version control, testing, and debugging tools such as Git, Jest, Cypress, etc. 
  • Familiarity with backend web development technologies and frameworks, particularly ASP.NET and related technology boilerplates and the ability to contribute and collaborate with backend developers 
  • Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently and in an agile setup 
  • A portfolio of front-end development projects and publications that demonstrate your skills and achievements 
  • Knowledge of backend frameworks such as .Net Core and Java SpringBoot is a plus
