Job description

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager for our client in the consulting sector. Portfolio Manager will be responsible for supporting specific portfolios in partnership with Business Relationship Managers.

As a manager of the team – you will be responsible for:

Elevating the team from “status and data reporting” to delivering “insights and direction” that drives change in the way the firm operates across organizational boundaries.
Instill effective constraint management techniques and processes to collectively manage risks/issues, financial health, scope change management and resource allocation along with mentoring and coaching
Developing, supporting, and driving the team’s strategy in alignment with broader strategic goals and direction
Creating an environment that attracts, enables, and retains top candidates to the team.
Standardizing and providing direction on critical portfolio management responsibilities and initiatives that add value.
Actively reducing the number of transactions required to bring demands and requests to fruition.

Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
Location: Remote, with occasional on-site meetings in Toronto, Canada
