Business Analyst/Tester - USCIS DMOS

Overview:

JOB TITLE: Business Analyst/Tester (ServiceNow)

GOVERNMENT  AGENCY: USCIS DMOS

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-time

LOCATION: Remote/Telework

POSITION TIMING: Candidate will obtain a USCIS Public Trust clearance which must be complete prior to starting work. The clearance typically takes 4-6 weeks to process.

• Support operation analysis and analyzing data found in ServiceNow incident tickets to determine fixes for issues (non-technical or technical).
• Support the development team with analyzing common issues and determining one-to-many solutions.
• Support data analytics and development of metric reports.
• Supporting Full Stack Java Development lifecycle by performing testing/business analysis
• Deploy changes in Demo environments; in those environments, this application contains JMS listenersand REST endpoints used by system-to-system
• Work with Web Services to provide ingestion of XML payloads representing

• 3+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role
• Experience supporting software testing requirements as a BA
• ServiceNow exposure/experience
• Experience testing software code and working in Jira after identifying bugs or fixes needed during testing.
• Experience triaging incidents and determining a root cause for any issues discovered.
• Experience analyzing user needs and can develop software solutions based off
• Experience with IT modernization and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Projects                                                                                                                                                           
• Ability to work on their own with limited direction but can also work with a cross functional development team

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification, preferred
• The candidate has previous USCIS project or ELIS tool experience, preferred
